10/04/1469 Monarchy Candidate - Cerculetze

The KAP endeavored to interview each of the candidates for the English Monarch elections, each of the candidates has replied so far, and their answers will be published in separate articles.

The same questions were asked to all candidates who we had access to. All candidates were approached at the same time. They chose which questions to answer. Interviews will be published in order of when the candidates responded. Answers will be published as written by the candidates provided they fit within the constraints of the KAP Charter.

First to respond to our questions was candidateCerculetze de Burgess Hill

Q: Tell us about your family history?
A: Family history? Let's see! Born in good ,old Canterbury. Adopted and raised by Lady Starsong, most patient and wise woman in the world. Too bad I'm not much like her! No blood siblings. Married and divorced young. No children. On a metaphorical level, if I am allowed and cheesiness included, I consider everyone from Canterbury and later on Lewes to be my family.

Q: Do you have a specific claim to the throne?
A: In terms of titles, bloodline, political experience or status I have no specific claim to the throne. However, in time I come to learn that power resides wherever people believe it resides.

Q: Is there a previous monarch that you identify with in particular?
A: If there's ever been a King/Queen Next Door, I want to be that one.

Q: Do you intend to tour everywhere? Or how else will you decide how to split your time in England?
A: Yes, I do intend to tour everywhere and meet up with everyone. I always feel that being in the taverns and actually listening to people's concerns beats whatever boring talk you can have in the *locked chambers*. Theories and pompous ideologies wont keep one fed, only fed up if anything.

Q: What is your approach to conflict and can you give an example of conflict resolution?
A: I think that we can all agree, best way to approach a conflict is by drowning it in alcohol. Joke aside, heartfelt, honest communication , where all sides bring forward their frustration but also their vision on how to make things better should be they key to all conflict resolution. But, if everything fails, like I always say *les whinning, more wine-ing, folks!*

Q: What kind of leadership experience do you have?
A: I do not have leadership experience. Unless 2 terms mayor and who knows how many years mentoring count. Or being Sussex Fashion Queen once. Or watching Elsbet and her mighty Rolling pin exercise leadership in full swing a couple of times.

Q: What do you consider your greatest accomplishment in life?
A: My greatest accomplishment so far is not killing David Blackwood. If Im being serious, my greatest accomplishment is having brought my humble contribution to the beautiful community I live in currently.

Q: What specific virtues do you hope people know you for and why?
A: You'll have to ask them! Yes, I'd really like to know their opinion after 11 years of living together. I can only hope I am still fun to have around.

Q: Tell us what type of person do you see supporting you?
A: Noisy-fun-active-drunk-uncomplicated-socially involved person.

Q: Tell us what type of person you are looking for in your privy and royal administration in general?
A: Noisy-fun-active-drunk-uncomplicated-socially involved person.

Q: Who is someone important to you who is alive today and what kind of role do you expect them to take if you were to become monarch?
A: I'd like Richard "Casper" Rodriguez to be on my side for this if he'd be up for it as only politician I know who speaks *politics-for-beginners* fluently. Definitely, Id want Lady Helennto be my heir, if she'd be willing to take this journey with me. There's a certain Tyg3r of Westmorland Id like to have as head of security should he accept.

Q: Tell us something you do to make yourself feel better when stressed, sad or otherwise upset?
A: I swing from the chandelier. *laughs* I write/read/create fruit puns. And ocasionally write fun stuff in "The Gossip Columnist".

Q: How do you feel about mushrooms?
A: I like them firm, mold-free, farm-fresh,non-poisonous.

Q: What is one specific project that you as monarch intend to personally focus on?
A: Communication and friendification between counties.

Q: What is your least favorite thing in the world? What is your most favorite thing?
A: My least favorite thing in the world: bad fashion sense equals capital sin.
A: My most favorite thing in the world: puns. And doodles.

Q: What is the best way for the general public to get answers if they have more questions?
A: Mail, pigeon, taverns.Cerculetze's Anti-campaign tent Thank you, Sir! This has been fun!
