Ajans Genel Yayın Yönetmeni'miz Genckaptan, Eflak KAP editörlerinden olan Amarna'ya haksız bir şekilde açılan bir davayla ilgili duyum alır almaz derhal ajans muhabirlerinden birini olayın aslını tüm detaylarıyla öğrenmesi için kendisinin yanına gönderir. Zira KAP ajanslarından biri olarak muhabir ve editörleri yıldırabilmek için yozlaşmış devlet görevlilerinin politik ve adli her türlü yaptırımına karşı çıkmak ve meslektaşlarımızı savunmak, ajansımız temel prensipleri arasındadır. Bugün bir meslektaşımıza yapılan, yarın meslektaşımız olsun ya da olmasın başka birine de muhakkak yapılacaktır.

Zor bir yolculuk ile olası pek çok sorgulama ve hapise atılma endişesiyle muhabirimizi Eflak'a göndererek onun için zor durumda kalınacak bir pozisyona sokmak istemedik. Bunun yerine sevgili Amarna'ya bir güvercin yollamayı tercih ettik.

Öncelikle röportaj davetimizi kabul edip vakit ayırdığınız için teşekkür ederiz. Eflak KAP editörlerinden biri olan size açılan dava dikkatimizi çekti ve meslektaşımızın hem sesini duyurmak hem de sizi dinlemek istiyoruz. Öncelikle sormak istediğimiz şey Eflak'da kimin hüküm sürdüğü ve nasıl bir yönetim vardır? Yönetimin adilliği ile ilgili neler söyleyebilirsiniz?

Eflak, ONE tarafından yönetilmektedir. Yönetim şekli Stratokrasidir. Yönetimin nasıl ele alındığını bilmiyorum çünkü tüm resmi bürolar kapalı ve Eflak vatandaşları siyasi hayata katılamıyor. Ancak siyasete girmek isteyenlerin temelde ONE'ın destekçisi olmaları gerekir. Bu nedenle Eflak'ın işlerini bilmek aslında ONE'ın işlerini bilmek anlamına gelir ve ben bilmiyorum. Eflak şu anda kesinlikle ONE'ın ordularının karargahı olarak işlev görüyor.

Neden dava edildiniz? Sebebi nedir? Bu davanın belirli bir amacı var mı ve dava için gerekli deliller var mı?

Eflak'a karşı vatana ihanet ve iftira suçlamasıyla dava açıldı. Vatana ihanet davasında savcı, Eflak'daki askeri çatışmalardan sorumlu olduğumu iddia etti ve Calumny davasında, ONE'ın üyelerine “köleler” dediğimi uydurdu. Hayır, suçlamarını destekleyecek hiçbir kanıtları yoktu.

Amaç sansürdür. Eflak'daki ilk günümden beri, fikirlerimi açıklamanın beni öldüreceği konusunda uyarıldım. Bazı ONE ve Osmanlı temsilcileri arasındaki aleni savaş kışkırtmalarını ve bunları yapma biçimlerini kınadım. Ancak tepkileri, ONE'ın toplumu korumak için elinden geleni yaparken Eflak'ın benim yüzümden askeri çatışmaya gireceğini söylemek oldu. Bu ise suçlamanın ve yanlış anlamanın klasik bir senaryosudur.

Bu davaya karşı savunmanız ne olacak? Bunun hakkında ne söyleyebilirsiniz?

Suçlamalarını ispatlamadaki acizlikleri ve isteksizlikleri savunmamın ilk adımıydı: Şikayetlerinin ilk paragrafı benimle hiçbir ilgisi olmayan bir beyan ve son cümleler ONE için ölümsüz bir marş gibi. Söylenenler benim davamla ilgili olsalardı bile adli bir metin oluşturmazlar. İkincisi savaşa karşı olduğumu ve o gün ortaya çıkan antisosyal davranışların kamuya açık olduğunu ve bunu başlatmadığını gösteren mevcut kanıtlardı: Basın Ajansı'na geldiğimde zaten savaş esirleriyle ne yapacaklarını tartışıyorlardı. Bu yüzden askeri çatışmayı kışkırtmam fiziksel ve mantıksal olarak imkansız. Üçüncüsü itirazlarım esas olarak ülke temsilcilerinin askeri meseleleri yönetme biçimlerine yönelikti, yorumladıkları gibi kişiliklerine değil. Hemşehrilerim yetkililerin eleştiriye ve farklı görüşlere karşı yüksek hassasiyetinin farkındadır. Bu nedenle onlara bilmediklerini söyleyebileceğim yeni bir şey yok. Dahası, askeri çatışmalar sorumluluk, ihtiyat ve edep yerine sadist bir coşkuyla ilan edildiğinde, askeri harekatın faydalı karakteri otomatik olarak ortadan kalkar. Başka bir devlete askeri müdahale, Eflak'a toprak genişlemesi sağlaması, kişisel intikamların alınması ve kazanan askeri grubun öldürme tatmininin haricinde tam olarak nasıl fayda sağlıyor? Ve sahte suçlamalarla bir Eflak'lıyı öldürmek işleri nasıl düzeltir? Bunların hepsi retorik sorulardır.

Genckaptan, Editorul-Sef al Agentiei noastre, de indata ce a auzit de procesele aduse pe nedrept Amarnei - unul din redactorii KAP Valahia, a trimis o scrisoare dansei pentru a afla in detaliu adevarul despre incident. Fiind una din Agentiile de Presa Asociate Regatelor, este de datoria noastra primordiala sa aparam principiile agentiei si sa ne opunem tuturor felurilor de sanctiuni politice sau juridice intentate de oficialii statelor corupe redactorilor si editorilor nostri, pentru a opri incercarile de intimidari. Ceea ce astazi se intampla unui coleg, cu siguranta se va repeta cu urmatorul, indiferent daca reporter sau nu, maine.

Nu am dorit sa ne punem reporterii in dificila pozitie de a-i trimite in Valahia, temandu-ne de anevoioasa calatorie, numeroasele posibile interogari si incarcerari. In schimb, am ales sa trimitem un porumbel catre Amarna. Dupa cum ne asteptam, porumbelul trimis de noi nu s-a mai intors inapoi. Se zvoneste ca a fost omorat de ONE, fiind suspectat de intentii de spionaj.

În primul rând, vă mulțumim că ați acceptat invitația noastră la interviu și că v-ați dedicat din timp. Procesele intentate impotriva dumneavoastra, unul din redactorii valahi, ne-au starnit interesul, si dorim sa va facem vocea auzita. Prima intrebare este cine conduce Valahia si sub ce tip de guvernare se afla? Ce puteti sa spuneti despre corectitudinea cu care este administrata Valahia?

Valahia este condusa de ONE. Forma de guvernamant este Stratocratia. Nu cunosc modul cum este manevrata administratia, pentru ca toate birourile oficiale sunt inchise, iar cetatenii valahi nu participa la viata politica. Cei care totusi participa, trebuie sa devina fundamental adepti ai gruparii militare ONE. Prin urmare, a cunoaste afacerile valahe inseamna a cunoaste afacerile ONE, iar eu nu le cunosc. Momentan, Valahia functioneaza strict ca sediu militar pentru armatele ONE.

De ce ati fost data in judecata? Care a fost motivul? Are vreun scop precis procesul, si exista dovezi necesare pentru a-l sustine?

Am fost data in judecata cu acuzatii de Inalta Tradare si Calomnie impotriva Valahiei; in procesul de Inalta Tradare, opozitia mi-a impus faptul ca sunt responsabila pentru conflictele miltare valahe, iar in procesul de Calomnie, au fabricat ca am numit membrii ONE „sclavi”. Nu, nu exista nicio dovada care sa le suporte acuzatiile.

Scopul este cenzura; inca din prima mea zi in Valahia, am fost avertizata ca exprimarea opiniilor imi va aduce moartea. Am condamnat instigarile publice la razboi din birourile de presa turcesti dintre reprezentantii otomani si ONE, si maniera in care le-au manifestat. Reactia lor, pe de alta parte, a fost de a declara ca Valahia va fi in conflict militar din vina mea, in timp ce ONE incearca din rasputeri sa protejeze societatea. Un scenariu clasic de atribuire eronata a vinei si rastalmacire.

Care va fi apararea dumneavoastra impotriva acestui proces? Ce puteti spune despre aceasta?

Incapacitatea si indisponibilitatea lor de a-si dovedi acuzatiile au fost primul pas in apararea mea: primul paragraf al reclamatiei este o enumeratie de evenimente care nu au nicio legatura cu mine, iar ultimele fraze intoneaza o oda catre ONE, deci nici daca ar fi fost relevante pentru procesul meu, tot nu ar fi constituit un text juridic. Al doilea pas au fost dovezile disponibile care arata faptul ca m-am opus razboiului si manifestarilor publice din acea zi, si nu ca le-am provocat: la sosirea mea in Agentia de Presa, ei deja discutau ce vor face cu prizonierii de razboi, deci sa fi instigat eu conflictul militar ar fi fost fizic si logic imposibil. In al treilea rand, obiectille mele erau directionate in principal catre modul in care reprezentantii tarilor isi purtau declaratiile militare, si nu catre persoanele dansilor, cum au interpretat ei, deci, esecul in a intelege unde au gresit este un alt motiv pentru care acuzatiile impotriva mea, in circumstante juste, ar cadea. In ce priveste procesul de Calomnie, nu e nimic care sa suporte invinuirile, pentru ca nu i-am numit niciodata sclavi ori inrolati cu forta.

Daca ati avea un articol care sa fie aprobat in agentia proprie de presa, ce ati infatisa despre aceasta situatie?

Concetatenii mei cunosc deja intoleranta autoritatilor la critica sau diferente de opinie, prin urmare nu e nimic ce as putea impartasi cu valahii sa nu stie deja. Faptul ca autoritatile iau orice manifestare publica ca un atac personal este o alta cutuma binecunoscuta. Preocuparea lor ar trebui totusi sa fie transparenta publica; cetatenii sunt tinuti in ceata in privinta afacerilor externe si interne, propovaduindu-li-se ca autoritatile fac tot posibilul pentru siguranta statului. Cand cetatenii incredintati de asta se trezesc intr-o zi martori la declaratii beligerante care nu par facute in folosul tarii lor, explicatii din partea autoritatilor, si nu linsari, trebuie sa apara. Mai mult, cand conflictele militare sunt trambitate cu entuziasm sadic si nu cu responsabilitate, precautie si decenta, caracterul salvator al campaniei militare se disipa automat. Cum, mai exact, implicarea militara intr-un alt stat aduce vreun beneficiu Valahiei, si nu expansiune teritoriala, razbunare personala si satisfacerea placerii de a ucide gruparii militare invingatoare? Si cum anume condamnarea unui valah la moarte cu acuzatii false ajuta la indreptarea lucrurilor? Toate astea sunt intrebari retorice.

Our Agency Editor-in-Chief, Genckaptan, as soon as he heard about a lawsuit that was unfairly brought against Amarna, one of the editors of Wallachia KAP, immediately sent one of the agency reporters to her to learn the truth of the incident in all details. Because, as one of the KAP agencies, it is among the basic and staunchly defended principle of our agency to oppose all kinds of political and judicial sanctions by corrupt state officials and to defend our colleagues in order to intimidate reporters, editors, and citizens. What is done to a colleague today will certainly be done to another colleague, whether s/he is a reporter, redactor or editor, tomorrow.

We did not want to put our reporter in a difficult position by sending him to Wallachia, with the fear of a difficult journey and many possible interrogations and imprisonment for him. Instead we chose to send a dove to our beloved Amarna. Of course, the same pigeon we sent did not return to us. We believe it was killed by ONE as it was suspected of being a spy.

First of all, thank you for accepting our interview invitation and taking your time. The lawsuits brought against you, one of the editors of Wallachia KAP, caught our attention, and we want to make our colleague's voice heard and listen to you. The first thing we want to ask is who rules in Valahia and what kind of government is there? What can you say about the fairness of the administration?

Amarna
Wallachia is rulled by ONE. The form of government is Stratocracy. I do not know how the administration is handled, because all the official bureaus are closed, and the valachian citizens do not participate in the political life. The ones who want to engage in the politics however, must become supporters of ONE fundamentally. Therefore, to know the Wallachian affairs actually means to know ONE’s affairs, and I do not. Wallachia functions strictly as headquarters for ONE’s armies at the moment.

Why were you sued? What is the reason? Does this case have a specific purpose and is there the necessary evidence for the case?

Amarna
I was sued with accusations of High Treason and Calumny against Wallachia; for the High Treason case, the prosecutor imputed that I am responsible for valachian military conflicts, and for the Calumny case, he fabricated that I called ONE’s members “slaves”. No, they had no evidence to support any of their accusations.

The purpose is censorship; since my first day in Wallachia, I have been warned that stating my opinions will get me murdered. I condemned the public war instigations between some of the ONE and Ottoman representatives, and the manner in which they made them. Their reaction however, was to state that Wallachia will be in military conflict because of me, while ONE tries its best to protect the society. It is a classic scenario of blame shifting and misconception.

What will be your defense against this case? What can you say about it?

Amarna
Their incapacity and unwillingness to prove their accusations were the first step in my defence: the first paragraph of their complaint is a recital which has nothing to do with me, and the last sentences are a die-hard anthem for ONE, so even if they were relevant to my case, they do not constitute a judicial text. The second one was the available evidence which shows that I opposed the war and the public display of antisocial behaviour manifested that day, and not started it: at my arrival in the Press Agency, they were already discussing what they will do with the war prisoners, so instigating the military conflict is physically and logically impossible for me. Thirdly, my objections were directed mainly on the way the country’s representatives led the military affairs, and not that much on their personas, as they interpreted it. So failing to understand where they were mistaken is another reason why the accusations against me, in fair circumstances, would fall. Regarding the Calumny case, there is nothing to support the accusations because I never called them slaves or forced-enrolled.

If there was an article about this situation that you could get approved and published in your own agency, what would you briefly describe?

Amarna
My fellow citizens are aware of the authorities’ high sensitivity towards criticism and different opinions. Therefore there is nothing new that I could tell them they already don’t know about. The fact that authorities take any public manifestation as a personal attack is another well-known custom. The main concern should be public transparency. As citizens, we are kept in the dark regarding the external and internal affairs, and reassured that the authorities do everything possible for the State safety. When the citizens, convinced of that, wake up one day witnessing belligerent declarations which do not seem to be made in the State’s benefit, explanations, and not lynching must be delivered. Moreover, when military conflicts are proclaimed with sadistic enthusiasm, and not responsibility, caution, and decency, the military campaign’s salutary character dissolves automatically. How exactly does military involvement in another state bring Wallachia any benefits, and not territorial expansion, personal revenge, and a thrill for massacres for the winning military group? And how does killing a valachian with false accusations straighten things up? These are all rhetorical questions.
